The Afutura SE200 is the world’s first Multi-DAC player, utilizing the latest audiophile DACs from ESS (ES9068AS) in a Dual DAC configuration and a single AKM AK4499EQ, AKM’s flagship DAC. This combination results in a fundamentally different sound profile compared to typical portable music players.

Designed to optimize sound quality, the SE200 features multiple independent AMP designs matching the characteristics of the AKM and ESS DACs. By separating signals for balanced and unbalanced outputs, the design ensures independent circuits that minimize interference, thus providing a superior listening experience with native playback of DSD, FLAC, and other high-resolution audio formats.

Customizable Sound Experience

Beyond offering different DACs for various music types, the SE200 allows users to customize their sound by choosing from various DAC filters, enabling a personalized sound profile. A volume wheel LED displays playback information, including volume range, bit-rate, and the currently used DAC.

MQA Support for Master Quality Authenticated Audio

The AstellKern SE200 supports MQA technology, ensuring the playback of master quality authenticated files and streams, thus delivering the sound of the original master recording.
