Ceramika – artisanal Polish pottery serving bowls with 7.75″, 9″, and 11″ diameters, crafted with traditional techniques. The Art of Polish Pottery originated as local folk art centuries ago in Silesia, Germany. The first known ‘Bunzlauer’ stoneware pieces, dating back to the 16th century, were handmade and decorated using a folk art stamping technique with potatoes. Classic designs, inspired by peacock feathers, feature cobalt blue, sage green, and ferrous red hues, still influencing modern patterns today. Skilled Polish artisans individually handcraft and hand-decorate each piece using small sponges to stamp patterns and colors. The process involves mixing ingredients, molding pottery, applying decorations and glaze, and twice-firing the pottery, making it extremely durable, resistant to cracking and chipping, and suitable for microwave, dishwasher, oven, and freezer use. This Blue Rose Polish Pottery Athena 3 Piece Serving Bowl Set is a part of our curated collection, complementing hand-blown glassware from Poland.
