Original designs, inspired by the peacock feather, feature cobalt blue, sage green, and ferrous red hues, which continue to influence modern patterns. Today, Polish artists individually handcraft and decorate each piece, utilizing small sponges to stamp patterns and colors. The pottery undergoes a rigorous process involving ingredient mixing, molding, decoration application, and glazing, followed by a double-firing technique. This labor-intensive method ensures the pottery’s durability, making it resistant to cracks and chips, and safe for use in microwaves, dishwashers, ovens, and freezers.
