This extra-large rectangular baker with handles seamlessly transitions from oven to table, measuring 16 3/4″ handle to handle and 10 1/4″ wide. The heritage of Polish Pottery, or ‘Bunzlauer’ stoneware, dates back to the 16th century in the Silesia region. Skilled Polish artisans continue this centuries-old tradition, handcrafting and decorating each piece with sponge-stamped patterns inspired by the peacock feather in cobalt blue, sage green, and ferrous red. The process involves mixing ingredients, molding, decoration, and glazing, followed by a double firing that enhances durability. Free from lead and cadmium, this bakeware is perfect for microwave, dishwasher, oven, and freezer use.
