Chelsio’s SM10G-SR 10Gb/s 850nm Multimode SFP+ optical transceivers are designed for data center applications, including storage, cloud computing, and high-performance computing (HPC), and are certified for use with Chelsio’s 10-Gigabit Ethernet Unified Wire Adapters. Compatible with Chelsio’s T5-based Unified Wire Adapters, which support PCI Express 3.0 host bus interface, they are optimized for virtualization and other demanding data center environments. The T5 adapters boast Chelsio’s fifth-generation ASIC technology, providing high-performance offloading of TCP/IP, iSCSI, FCoE, and iWARP RDMA processing. This results in higher bandwidth, lower latency, and reduced power consumption for the system.
