The First Alert SC7010BPVCN Hardwired Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Voice Location and Battery Backup ensures continuous safety monitoring even during power outages. This smart smoke and carbon monoxide detector combines electrochemical CO-sensing technology with a photoelectric smoke sensor featuring Optipath 360 technology for 360-degree smoke detection, effectively identifying smoldering fires. It can be interconnected with up to 18 compatible devices (sold separately), including smoke alarms, bells, horns, and repeaters, to sound all alarms upon detecting a threat. The device emits a loud 85-decibel spread-spectrum alarm and features a latching alarm indicator to identify the source of the alarm. It also includes a one-button silence feature for nuisance alarms and tests detector functions. The end-of-life signal chirp notifies you when the unit needs replacement. Installation is simplified with a “quick-connect” wiring harness for AC power connection.
