Its innovative design includes two powerful small magnets for easy attachment to a sticky-backed stainless steel piece or a metal clip provided with the humidifier, suitable for various instrument cases such as guitar, violin, cello, clarinet, or mandolin. The Oasis Digital Hygrometer accurately measures relative humidity, providing critical data to decide when to activate the Oasis Guitar Humidifier, especially since humidity can vary significantly even within your home. For an accurate reading, it’s recommended to place the hygrometer near your instrument. To achieve a precise humidity measurement for your guitar, lay the guitar case on its back, place a cloth under the hygrometer to avoid scratching, position it on the guitar top with the sensor near the sound hole, and close the case. After 4-6 hours, open the case and take the reading quickly to capture the pre-opening humidity level.
