Enclosed in a durable aluminum chassis, this sophisticated pedal brings users an intuitive guitar synthesizer experience with real-time pitch and amplitude tracking, multiple preset tunings, and a potent Sync effect that unlocks novel modulation possibilities for guitarists and bassists exploring the analog frontier of Pigtronix. The user interface features five expertly crafted, dual-concentric potentiometers and two toggle switches, offering comprehensive control over the synthesizer’s expansive sonic capabilities. The upper control row includes individual level controls for the Triangle wave (VCO), Square wave, original Clean guitar tone, and a powerful Sub-octave Sine wave voice, with the latter able to be routed independently to a bass amplifier via the SUB output. The central control row governs Master Volume, Glide, Fine Tune, and a Dynamics function that tailors the synthesizer’s amplitude tracking response to the player’s preference. The lower control row houses a 3-way tuning switch with Unison, Octave Up, and Interval presets, alongside a Sync function that locks the VCO’s triangle and square wave oscillators to the input signal, yielding a pitch-locked unison sound rich in harmonics. The innovative Sync effect can be finely adjusted using the Sweep and Timbre controls, complemented by the Glide function, to produce a wide array of modulation and pitch effects.
