Building upon the lush tonal landscapes created by the Julia analog chorus/vibrato, Julianna is an all-analog, digital LFO stereo chorus/vibrato with expanded features for versatile sound modulation. Julianna seamlessly transitions from mild, smooth chorus effects to intense, seasick vibrato and everything in between. Retaining familiar controls like Lag, Dry-Chorus-Vibrato Blend, and selectable LFO wave shapes, Julianna introduces new capabilities. Secondary LFO speed, modulation drift, tap/expression control, and momentary features enable users to command novel sounds beyond those found in traditional chorus pedals. A distinctive feature of Julianna and Julia is the Lag control, allowing users to set the center delay time modulated by the LFO. The Lag knob varies the modulation from smooth and tight at lower settings to a warbling detune at maximum, adding a new dimension to the chorus/vibrato landscape. The D-C-V knob adjusts the dry to wet signal ratio through Julianna’s mono channel. Traditional mono chorus sounds are achieved around the noon setting, while full clockwise rotation yields pitch vibrato. Intermediate settings offer unique blends of chorus and vibrato. For a traditional stereo chorus sound, set the DCV knob to full counterclockwise with both outputs connected, sending the dry signal to the mono output and vibrato signal to the stereo output. Experiment with other variations by slightly turning up the DCV knob to add vibrato signal to the dry output, altering the stereo image.
