The Washburn Nuno Bettencourt Nele Standard is a bold, versatile instrument born from the fusion of Nuno Bettencourt’s innovative spirit and Washburn’s craftsmanship. Inspired by classic models, this latest collaboration pushes the boundaries with a natural-grain swamp ash body and a Seymour Duncan Vintage Stack neck pickup for warm, rich sound, and a Bill Lawrence L-250 for biting, aggressive tones. The innovative 6-way Freeway Ultra pickup switch unlocks six distinct settings, including three unique configurations for added tonal depth. Each guitar is hand-built in Washburn’s custom shop, featuring a birdseye maple neck, Gotoh GTC201 bridge, and Grover 18:1 tuning machines.
