The Yorkville NX55P-2 12″ 2-Way Powered Loudspeaker boasts of rugged molded construction and a trapezoidal shape, making it an ideal versatile loudspeaker for mobile DJing and live music performances. Packing 1,000W continuous output from its onboard Class-D and Class-A/B amplifiers, this 12″ powered loudspeaker delivers deep, tight lows and pure highs, making it perfect for main front-of-house PA or floor monitor use. Featuring a built-in mixer section and direct-input system, the NX55P-2 can be used directly with microphones and line sources like CD players or laptops. The loop output allows for additional active cabinets to be driven, and with the mixer’s equalization and high pass filtering, it’s optimized for vocal applications. User-defeatable 100Hz high pass filters enable efficient use with Yorkville active subwoofers, and a selectable two-position high-pass filter limits extraneous low frequency rumble. Multiple NX55P-2 speakers can be linked together for a maximum of three ‘mixers’ to be active at any time, making it an excellent choice for large events and applications requiring high volume and superior sound quality.
