Utilizing optical control, it significantly reduces wear and tear on the control potentiometer, increasing the effect’s lifespan and eliminating unwanted “scratchy” sounds associated with traditional potentiometer-based volume pedals. The LLM-2 version provides a complete range of volume control, from maximum output to total silence, making it an ideal addition to any guitarist’s pedal board. Key features include a 3-way toggle switch on the left side, allowing users to choose from three MAX output volumes: +12 for the highest output, +6 as a secondary option, and 0 for line volume, catering to various musical needs. With a high input impedance of 1 MOhm and a low output impedance of 10 KOhm, this pedal seamlessly integrates into any effects chain without compromising signal quality. It’s also equipped with removable support feet for easy installation on pedal boards and adjustable pedal tension for personalized control.
