The Legacy Series shares the DNA of its renowned predecessor and adds an advanced feature set and concept. The original 800RB model, designed by Gallien-Krueger, set a milestone in solid-state bass amplification due to its clarity, power, and innovative design. The new Legacy heads maintain this heritage and introduce additional improvements. The 500, 800, and 1,200W Class D Legacy heads are suitable for a variety of settings, ranging from intimate performances to large stage shows. To ensure optimal sound and durability, the heads utilize gold-plated circuit boards instead of standard connectors prone to degradation. The Legacy 1200 features a classic 4-band EQ, overdrive with tone shaping, a DI output, voicing filters like ‘Bump,’ ‘Contour,’ and ‘Presence,’ and Load capacity selection to support 2-, 2.7-, 4-, and 8-ohm configurations.
