The ACS1 is an amplifier and speaker cab simulator delivering the sound and feel of world-class amplifiers, complimentary speaker cabinets, and controllable room size. With the ACS1, guitarists have expansive tone-shaping options for live stage performances, home recording, or practice. Simple, user-friendly controls, stereo in and out, and onboard presets make this pedal an essential component in a musician’s rig. MIDI compatibility and three onboard presets further increase its value for both studio and stage use. The ACS1 models three iconic vintage amp styles – Fullerton, inspired by the Fender® Deluxe Reverb’s bright, clear sound; London, capturing the rich, valve-driven breakup of a 1962 Marshall Bluesbreaker; and Dartford, emulating the jangly, British Invasion sound of a 1960s Vox AC30. The pedal features six high-quality cabinet impulse responses (IRs) and allows for custom IR loading via the Walrus Audio customer web app. The Room Ambience feature simulates various room environments, from an anechoic chamber to a spacious studio. The boost function enables musicians to quickly adjust their volume and gain levels. With MIDI, users can access and recall up to 128 presets. Key specs: 24-bit 48kHz AD and DA converters for clear signal processing, anodized gold finish, and compact dimensions: 4.9” x 2.52” x 2.64”. Power requirements are 9VDC, 300mA, and a high-quality isolated power supply is recommended.
